CPP (Canada)

Canada Pension Plan Investments (recently rebranded from CPPib) is one of the only two Canadian PPFs at national level, together with PSP. The fund is entirely focused on one client, the Canada Pension Plan. It is not only one of the world’s largest PPFs, but also a remarkable allocator into alternative assets (48% of its portfolio), which makes it one of the largest real estate, infrastructure and private equity investors. Considering the pace of contributions and returns, the fund is poised to surpass USD 1 trillion by 2037.
